That’s a shame Nick. I don’t think it has anything to do with cookies. There was something much deeper going on. I feel this is a good example of stories we make up on our head that in reality aren’t true. But we believe them and they consume us. It’s all very low vibrational energy which leads to illness. It’s a good lesson for everyone else and example of just how powerful the mind is. For both positive and negative. A question to ask ourselves. What stories and beliefs are we making up?

And no, you can’t help anyone who doesn’t want to be helped. Hence the saying, you can’t help anyone lead a horse to water but can’t force it to drink.

It’s sad but it’s life and it’s a lesson as everything is.

I had to alienate myself from my dad for 10 years but that was to save myself. I also mourned the loss for all those years. Everything is different now he is gone as I finally understand why he was the way he was.

Nick this is so tragic on so many levels. I suspect that your poor aunt struggled with much deeper problems, stemming perhaps from undiagnosed mental illness. Often unwell people isolate themselves and suffer in silence; alienation from family and friends is actually a sign that something is very wrong. I am truly sorry for your loss. This story is especially heartbreaking for your aunt and gram but for the entire family really. May she find some semblance of peace now. Thanks for sharing such a difficult piece. 🩵
