How to Eliminate the #1 Energy-Draining Habit Affecting Everyone
A big value drop, for just a few minutes of your time
I'll never forget the story that my dad told me when I was 16.
He was in court with a big time female lawyer, who had won thousands of success cases
I mean let's be honest: Being in court churns your nerves
And my dad was no exception
This lawyer noticed my dad's uneasiness, skipped the small talk, and hit him with the punch line
"Let me tell you what I've realized from working with thousands of people all over the world", she said.
"90% of what you worry about doesn't come true"
My dad told me that he didn't believe her at first
But after thinking about his past, he realized that the majority of his fears never came true
And the small ones that did were not nearly as bad as he thought.
The kicker that flipped his thinking was:
He'd survived EVERYTHING that had been thrown at him his whole life.
So the question is:
Why worry if you know that your chances of getting through, and being ok are almost guaranteed?
The truth is..
Stress causes worry, and worry leads to more stress. It's a vicious cycle.
Stress drains more of your energy than ANYTHING else out there
It prevents you from moving forward, achieving your goals, and makes getting through your day seem like an all out war
But life does not have to be this way..
Imagine how much energy you could free up if you could easily manage your stress levels
The first question to ask is:
Why are you stressed in the first place?
You're stressed because you don't think you will be able to handle things that happen in the future.
Fight or Flight responses get triggered in your mind
And at this point, relevant thinking is now completely thrown out the window
And by the time you finally settle down..
Half or more of your energy is gone from worrying about an imaginary thought that doesn't even exist in real time.
It simply has not happened yet.
We all have the same 24 hours in a day. What you can do in those 24 hours separates you from the rest.
Imagine the level of efficiency you could have if you threw stress and worry completely out the window? How much time would you save?
So how can you stop stress without meditating, exercising, or supplements?
Simply realize that in your own life: "90% of what you worry about, doesn't come true"
Be willing to take a breath, immerse yourself in your next task, and know that everything will be ok.
You will be ok because your past is proof of that. You're still here.
You're stronger than you can possibly imagine
Let your worries go.
